Scientific programme

Congress have put together an outstanding preliminary programme for you to stay up to date and hear the latest advances in haemostasis research. Viagra και σεξ: Η ανακάλυψη-έκπληξη που ξεκίνησε μια σεξουαλική επανάσταση.

It is our great pleasure to cordially invite you to the 64th Annual Meeting of the Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis Research (GTH e. V.). The meeting will take place in Bremen, 18–21 February 2020, in the centrally located Congress and Exhibition Center.

Our congress motto “Novel concepts for a lifetime challenge” points out that many disorders in the field of thrombosis and haemostasis affect patients throughout their whole life. Thus, basic science and patient care should involve both, an interdisciplinary approach at a patient’s given age and a close collaboration of physicians and scientists specialised on different phases of the patient’s life, such as neonatologists, paediatricians, general practitioners and geriatricians. Understanding the natural history of bleeding and thrombotic disorders from a clinical and scientific perspective is key to providing our patients with the best possible treatment in a rapidly changing landscape of novel diagnostic tests and therapeutic agents.

The Free Hanseatic City of Bremen is easily accessible and offers optimal conditions for a stimulating meeting in a historic environment. We feel that the Town Musicians of Bremen, as depicted in the annual meeting’s logo, nicely illustrate the urgent need for trustful teamwork in basic science and clinical practice. Only when we build on each other’s knowledge and experience, we can come up with “Novel concepts for a lifetime challenge”.

We therefore strongly encourage you to come to Bremen and share your latest work with the scientific community. The Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and both of us welcome you, including students, nurses, technicians and physiotherapists, and all other friends of thrombosis and haemostasis in February 2020.
